Off-Topic: Can you .NET Till Your Eyes Bleed?

On September 16, 2009, in Development, by Mitch Milam

Hi Everyone,

This past month has been a whirlwind for me with both customer and personal projects in the works.

I alternate my days between .NET (C#) and JavaScript, with much of late being .NET.

I am almost exhausted.  I found myself refactoring C# in my sleep.

Am I alone?  Does anyone else have this condition?

Later, Mitch

Believe me, Mitch – you are not alone. But I also have reports and a lot of T-SQL in 4 parallel projects.

I know that, its like a combination of brain wash and sleep deprivation ;-)

I'm working on a xRM project since three months – the first contractor was not able to finish it, so we have a huge brownfield project… As you see, same situation here ;)

I too dream in code. For me it's SQL and VB.NET and Scribe functions, since my speciality is Reporting and Data Integrations.

I'm beginning to pull a John Nash (seeing code in newspapers and magazines)

    I can definitely sympathize!

There were a few of my years that I dreamed in code, and I enjoyed the sensation of waking up in the middle of the night with the answers to that days dilemma, but no more.
