I am curious what you think about on-line video training. What I am describing is viewing a “screen cast of a procedure, step, or process as a user is performing it.
I am curious if you find that more valuable than standard documentation.

yes definitely.
I find screencast (w/o audio) along with PDF guides that explain step-step walkthrough quite valuable.
cheers
I think online video training is worthwhile, but classical and detailed documentation should also be given for any product, add-on and so on. A video can be used as a summary, not as the only explanation method.
I am a big fan of online video training. I think it is a very effective method for learning a new process especially if there is a method available for asking questions and receiving a response. Supporting documentation is value added.
