I have set a plugin(counter) in the quote entity and when I try to save, it throws an error saying http:400 error. I tried your steps but still the error is occuring. When I try to disable the plugin the error doesnt occur... I tried to follow Ronald Lemmen's steps to set the plugin registration to asynchronous mode but then the plugin stops working.
