Knowing your place in the world

On March 7, 2008, in Meanderings, by Mitch Milam

So I'm back in Arkansas last week and I pick up my 16-year old niece to go somewhere or the other.  Being 16, the first thing she does when she gets in the truck is to re-tune my radio.

I promptly flipped it back to the station I as listening to before I picked here up. This prompted the following rebuke:

I didn't give you radio control. You just need to drive and look at the road.

Yes ma'am.

My Mo-Better Boots

On March 7, 2008, in Meanderings, by Mitch Milam

These are my Mo-Better Boots.  I wear them because I found my life to be mo better when I'm not slipping and sliding in the snow and ice and landing on my bottom.  Much mo better…

On March 7, 2008, in Meanderings, by Mitch Milam

We had a bit of a blizzard yesterday here in Coppell, Texas with snowflakes as big as butterflies ( it is Texas after all ).

Anyway, I've assembled the work of some of my local artists below.
