Kevin Collins, a friend at one of my partner companies, Integrated Data Architects, ran into an issue getting the Outlook client connected to their CRM server which is co-located at a site in Dallas.

CRM 4.0 now has something called an Internet Facing Deployment which is a new way of configuring CRM which came into play in this case.  Read Kevin's article on what he found and how he resolved it.
