I know this is an old thread but wondered if you could help. I want to change the default view on an entity to one I have created - however when I go into forms and Views the view I created is not there for me to select and make default. Do you know how I would do this? Many thanks

Possibly. You would need to connect to the retreivemultple message. I've heard of people doing this but never attempted it myself.

Thanks, Mitch

Hi,

It is possible to set the default public view based on a user's security role using a plug-in. See here: http://lovepeaceandcrm.blogspot.com/2009/02/changing-system-view-defaultvisibilty.html

Unfortunately, there is no way to do what you wish. It is a common request, so you're not alone.

Thanks, Mitch
